It acheived its goal in 1993 driven by Juan Montalvo Jr. It's a 1989 tube frame car built as right-hand drive to take advantage of the predominately clock-wise ciruits in the USA. The engine is a dry sumped 1.4L Datsun bored .040 over. With a Cosworth oil pump, Wiesco pistons, Carillo rods, Moldex steel crank, huge valves, alloy rocker gear, flowed head, twin Weber 45 DCOE carbs. It has a Tilton super light steel flyweel and clutch mated to a Datsun (Dan Hall,last rev, newly updated and rebuilt) gearbox casing with Hewland Mk9 dog engagement straight cut gears. It has a balanced 2-piece drive-shaft driving a Speedway quick-change rear axle. It is very competitive. I have a few spare engine, gearbox, body and chassis parts to go along with it. Brakes are AP F-3 front and Wilwood rear with a Tilton alloy pedal assembly and balance bar. Coil-overs all the way round with Carerra adjustable shocks The engine is fresh with 1 race since overhaul. There is a full compliment of guages including EGT and AutoMeter memory Rev Counter not to mention a HOT LAP, in car timing display and two way radio harness. I have a new Kirky alloy seat and cover which is ready for fitting. It has 8 Panasport Wheels with mounted slicks. It's fast and reliable. I'm too old to drive it that fast anymore, but its the most fun racer I've ever driven.
