This Mini Cooper has been constructed using an early Mk1 bodyshell. The car's 1,275cc engine has a Cooper 'S' 11-stud polished and ported cylinder head; '¾ race' camshaft; twin-choke Weber carburetor; ultra-light skeletal flywheel; heavy-duty clutch with AP race friction plate; straight cut gears; Cooper 'S' front disc brakes with 4-pot calipers; Cooper 'S' rear brakes; and a late-type Cooper brake servo. It also has a negative camber kit at the rear; adjustable shock absorbers all round; rear anti-roll bar; sump guard; works-type exhaust; and a works-type twin-panel dashboard, and not forgetting the must have 'Hopkirk' pedal. 5x10 Minilite wheels complete the set up and the car is painted in the typical 'works' colour scheme of Red over a White roof. It's difficult to describe how much fun this car is to drive. Its Weber carb and Works-type exhaust give this car a bark that sounds great, and the straight cut gear set has the typical whine particular to that gear pattern. All the lights, accessories and navigation equipment function as intended, the oil pressure is perfect and there are no oil or hydraulic drips left on the garage floor.
