Alexis MK 14 mfg march 1968 #36 AM#56 Really nice clean straight car. Currently in FB spec. Nice nickel plating. Set up and bump steered Drives great and feels good. Opert team car 1968 raced as FB Sold to John for 69 Less roll bar and engine. Opert supplied updated roll bar with car(as per John) Raced by Anatoly Arutunoff in 1969?-72(73?) to SWDIV championship in FC. Car was owned by a friend of Anatoly.(John in Tulsa) John sold car to Charlie Irons Do not know what happened race wise after 72 although car had ARRC sticker from 1974 Charlie Irons driving. Car DNS thanks Ralph! Could be run as Monoposto classic on treaded tires and no wings or formula 70 on slicks with the wings it "grew" during its life. Car is complete and ready with a dead battery and dead slicks. Have some gears to chose from. Front rims 8in Rear rims 10in Engine is 1600cc 116e MkVIII based on the MkV Box is MK8 as no was Mk6 available during resto. Engine and box were not with car when found. I found car in 1986/87. Also have Competition press & auto week dated March 13 1968 that shows this car in 1/2 page add. Magazine will go with car--good reading. $25000us
