The beautifully presented 373 GRD on offer has been confirmed by GRD expert Peter Denty as being the DART "Works" entry for the 1973 British F3 Championship for Allan Jones who, some years later, was to become F1 World Champion. The car has been fully prepared by the well-known Italian race shop Moreschi Motorsport of Quingentole, while the injected 2000cc Ford TC engine has been prepared by Valle.
After the 1973 Season the car was updated to 1974 configuration with a 2000cc Ford engine, the addition of a sportscar nose, and slightly different radiator positioning. The car was identical to the one campaigned by Renzo Zorzi, who won the Monaco F3 GP that year.
With the inclusion of an F3 at the Monaco Historic GP the future for these cars looks truly bright. The car cab be viewed by appointment in Northern Italy.
