For Sale Opel/Vauxhall Lotus Single seat race car Chassis built by SCHUBEL of Germany (Number OVL 198) under licence from the UK manufacturer Reynard. It has been a very successful, championship winning car for its current owner. It was professionally rebuilt and re-planked (with Aluminuim honeycomb) to eliminate flex and has only completed 10 Sprint events since. The car is fitted with a Swindon built and maintained 2.0 litre Vauxhall (Number SC 009) engine running on a Weber 48 LHP fuel injection system producing 270 BHP. Attached to it is the standard fitment uprated Hewland T5 gearbox fitted with an LSD. It is fitted with a remote jump battery fitting, a MOMO clip off suede flat bottomed wheel and a moveable fibreglass seat. It has recently been recommisioned, is in pristine condition and would be suitable for Libre racing, Sprints, Hillclimbs or the ultimate track day car.
